Event Documents are Rules or Notices that apply to a specific Regatta in the 32nd America’s Cup. These include Notices of Race and Sailing Instructions, Notices to Competitors, and Course Marshall Instructions.
The Notice of Race for a particular regatta includes details on the Rules (including amendments to the Racing Rules of Sailing), the regatta schedule and format, the race and course and scoring details. Information on the measurement schedule, the Jury and Umpires for the event, and any other relevant information available at the time of publication, can also be found in the Notice of Race.
The Sailing Instructions for each regatta include, among many things, information on the Rules, the signals and procedures the Race Committee will use to communicate with competitors, and any other updates to the Rules since the Notice of Race.
