Feel the emotion of being a crew member on a real America’s Cup boat for the day. Depending upon your ability and experience you could actually be the helmsman, grinder, mastman or one of the other crew on board and experience a unique and fascinating adventure on GBR 52, a real America’s Cup Class boat.
General programme:
Interactive sailing excursion on board an authentic America’s Cup Class boat.
After a brief introduction to the boat we hoist the sails and start our “warm up”.
The crew will familiarise you with your position and after a few tacks and gybes we will push the boat to its maximum performance.
Departure point of the America’s Cup Class boat:
The ACC Boat is docked in the Port America’s Cup opposite the Veles e Vents building.
What to bring?
We recommend you wear soft soled running shoes. Don’t forget your sun protection.
Life jackets and sailing gear will be provided.
Age limitation:
Children should be no younger than 14 years old.
