ATTRACTIONS
One of the main objectives for the 32nd America’s Cup organization has always been to open up the event to the general public, to make the sport more accessible so the most important sailing event in the world can be enjoyed by all. The creation of an important land base was essential.
Today that project is a reality. And entrance to Port America’s Cup is free of charge.
Port America’s Cup was officially opened on the 11th of May, 2006. The team bases, the Superyacht Marina, the Veles e Vents building, AC Park and the Northern area of Port America’s Cup marina were finished. In 2007 it has been enhanced with the creation of the South Marina and the completely remodeled Northern port area.
More entertainment, more restaurants, more bars, more gardens and more spectator boats make it possible to see the racing first-hand and fulfilling Valencia’s dreams.
